Difference between Branding v/s Marketing

A brand is a name, term, sign, design, symbol or any other feature that identifies one seller’s product over another’s in the eyes of the customer. Depending on how well-known and sought after a brand is among consumers and consumers perceive it to be quality over price.

Marketing: Marketing is every strategy employed by an organization to effectively communicate the value of its products or services to target audiences for profit. This includes activities such as market research, product development and distribution planning.
